Welcome to Cornerstone Academy of the Ozarks

MISSION

In partnership with the home and local church, the mission of Cornerstone Academy of the Ozarks is to equip and encourage students to be life-long learners who embrace a Biblical worldview and a lifestyle of and service modeled after Jesus Christ.

VISION

The vision of Cornerstone Academy of the Ozarks is to help every student develop toward full maturity in Christ by teaching and enabling them:

TO BE conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29)

Development of CHARACTER

TO KNOW they are filled with the spiritual understanding and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10) and Truth (John 8:32)

Development of WISDOM

TO DO the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2) by being fruitful in every good work (Colossians 1:10) and living a lifestyle of service while not growing weary in well doing (Galations 6:9)

Development of SERVICE

Classroom teacher Mrs. Cate along with mentor teacher Mrs. Adams celebrate Christmas with Cornerstone students.

Dr. Allcorn pays Cornerstone Students a visit on Surgery Day during Learning Hospital Thematic Unit. Students perform a "heart operation" on "Annie Addition" using skills learned during the unit to determine the fate of the patient.

Students take a "mock" tour and taste Italy after Mrs. Cate takes them around the world to visit other countries and study cultures. A Currency exchange was set up for students to trade currencies.

Cornerstone students share learning experiences in the archological thematic unit with parents and grandparents over autumn refreshments after performing an informative dig about native people during Bible times.

Students uncover artifacts of ancient people and discover their ways of living.
